  1. Internet gambling sites download cookies that could easily be used to bypass your security software, by them or by a third person. You have to enable/allow these cookies to get their software to run, so there's no way around it.

    On a larger level, NO internet gambling site is "safe", because you have NO WAY of getting your money back if their site vanishes into thin air, or they simply refuse to pay winnings, or return your deposited money to you. You have NO LEGAL RECOURSE--heck, you usually can't even find out what country they're in.

    Online gambling--poker or otherwise--is STUPID.


  2. i've played on a dozen or so poker sites and everyone i've played is safe. If you live in the USA party poker doesnt allow real money for americans anymore. There are many other options tho. fulltilt, bodog, pokerstars, doylesroom. I play them all and they are all safe.

  3. No but they do scan your hard drive looking for banned programs.  That doesn't mean they will find them though ;)  They are completely trustworthy though and you've got absolutely nothing to worry about from them.

  5. I had Party Poker for a long time when it was still available in the US and I thought it was the best site out there.  They gave you very liberal bonuses that were easy to clear.
