  1. Well no one can lead a team by their own. U obviously have entourage. Take George Bush 4 example, he runs the country while he's on the phone playing golf. He has other ppl to do it 4 him, obviously! So...yea Pau was one of the reasons.

  2. he helped them reach it but he wasnt the only reason,,

    here are some reasons

    1. kobe's trusted his teammates more not looking to jack up a hundred shots a game last season

    2. bynum helped them atleast for half a season,

    3. gasol gave kobe a solid 2nd option on offense

    4. odom played better with gasol on the floor

    5. derek fisher came back,, ( thank god smush parkers gone!!!)

    6. lakers bench was very productive,,, sasha, ronny, farmar etc

AND the most important reason was

KWAME BROWN and his expiring contract!!! lol!!! havent u noticed teams who had kwame hated him but good things came immediatly after he left???

    wizards- butler

    lakers- gasol

    memphis-10million dollars

wonder wat the pistons are gnna get???

  3.   Yes he added another scorer and he is a big man. The thing about Paul he's still a tough matchup for players guarding him

  4. Yea he is Savior .. that's why his Record in playoff was 0-8 ... before joining the Lakers

  5. Partly yes. Everyone on the team contributed to the success that the Lakers had last season. Kobe had his best year being a leader on the team. He was getting his teammates motivated and he was being a great facilitator.

  6. yes but he was mostly a backup because bynum was injured but u cant give kobe no credit i mean if kobe wasnt there they wouldnt make it to the finals either

  7. Yes i do think Pau saved them.. and ripped him off from memphis.. they aint goin nowhere next year though.

  8. Nope, that guy is tall and lanky. One wind rush and he'll fall over like tall ply wood. Remember how Shaq embarrassed Dekembe when the Sixers made it to the championship game... if the Celtics had a guy that was like Shaq they would've killed Gasol. Garnett likes to shot outside most of the time so his really not like a guy who could post Gasol to the basket, although he did, but it wasn't with force. Its just that Gasol was saved from humiliation 'cause there is no young Shaq that could've manhandled him.

  9. Yes, he is one of reasons

  10. yes he helped i believe this is a team game

  11. Yes he was A reason but not THE reason.

the Lakers were #1 seeded team in the West right before Bynum went down if you didn't know.

  12. No he is not the reason.  Think of it like this.  The Lakers without Kobe last year would have been...well...the Grizzlies.  Pau's team before he came to the Lakers was 2nd to last place in the entire conference.  Kobe on the other hand was in 1st place a month before Pau was even traded to the Lakers.  Andrew Bynum's injury dropped him to 5th (due to division rule), but they still had the 4th best record in the West at that point.  Pau may have moved them a few spots closer, and yes he definitely did help.  But he was not even close to the sole reason they got to the finals.  If you couldn't tell, he was nonexistent in the finals.  Kobe carried that team through the playoffs.
