Is Paxinos and Indian name?

There is a small town named Paxinos in Pennsylvania. Can anyone help with further information.

I've knonw Greek people named PaxEnos.  Since Greek is written in a different alphabet, it seems plausible that the same name isn't always transliterated the same way.  So I'd guess that Paxinos is more likely Greek than Indian.
