Is Penn Foster for real? It seems too good to be true..?

Im looking to get an accounting degree through an online program so i have been doing research and i came across Penn Foster but it seems to simple. Too good to be true. Has anyone ever gotten a degree there and been successful or know anyone who did? Are they for real or is it all another scam? help me please!

  1. No I havent! But try phoenix online. My mom is taking courses through them. They are reputable. It looks like a scam on the commercials! But you never know. Im sure they wouldnt be able to show false advertisements...but people do it everyday!


  2. Penn Foster college is a real school. It is nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), a accreditation agency that's recognized by the US Department of Education. However, it is only nationally accredited, and holds no regional accredition. This hurts you if you choose to continue your studies past your Bachelor's degree since many regionally accredited schools refuse to accept credits from nationally accredited schools.
