  1. Whoever says Sydney is safe after dark is naive.

I agree with Sparky, its not safe. Heck my hubby is 6'4 and well over 100kgs but that didn't stop a gang of 5 coming after him for no reason other than he was there... lucky he was close to home and made it back unhurt.. doesn't even matter if you have years of fighting experience, these bored kids gang up and pick on whoever they can... gutless wonders..

  2. No way I'd walk it in the dark now.  I have done in past years, but the way people are or these thugs anyway,  I get a taxi.   Its getting that your not safe on some streets now unless your in a large group.

  3. These days, nowhere in Sydney is safe.

Especially for a woman on her own at 7 or 8 at night.

Alot of males wouldn't even do it.

  4. In summer it might be okay. I'd be a bit wary when it gets dark.

  5. ^ ... nob

    of course it's safe.

    suburban Sydney is extremely safe.

Depends where & how far you want to walk though I guess.

Of course you should be cautious, but I doubt anything would happen.

If you are worried, stick to well lit streets

    Naive?

    lol....

just because you have one bad experience, which was probably in a suburb nowhere near Pennant Hills, doesn't mean you can't walk through the place at night.
