Is Pepper Spray legal to carry in Mexico? Are Stun Guns/Tasers legal to carry in Mexico?

I am a U. S. Citizen living in Mexico looking for defense items that are legal in Mexico. I want to stay strictly within the Law.

They used to sell Pepper Sprays in my local Oxxo. Yeah, they are still legal (though there has been some mysoginist senators and congressmen that have tried to make them illegal recently without much success).

Tasers are illegal (might be legal if you're a cop or military guy though); though I've never seen cops do routine checks on people in the street to look for them (they do do random checks in the subways to men only on rush hour so that you arrive to school or your job late. Nice).

And if you're ever caught doing something naughty, there's always the famous bribe.

The Pepper Spray is legal as a self defense item - if you are caught using it while intoxicated, it is considered a felony... but as self defense it is legal. Tasers are not.
