  1. it can be. it realy depends. all opiates have a tendency to cause upset stomach. some more than others depending on the person. i have never taked vicodin.

    however i have taken percocet. and i could take it both on an empty or a full stomach with no problems whatsoever.


  2. No. They're both opiates. Nausea is a very common side effect of opiates.

    Believe me, it's NOT the acetaminophen. That's nothing more than an anti-inflammatory. NTB must be a really bad pharmacist. :\

  3. Percocet and Vicodin have 1 of 2 ingredients in common: Acetaminophen (brand: Tylenol). This may be what's causing an upset stomach. Both Percocet and Vicodin come in many strengths and the larger of the two numbers within the strength will be the amount of Acetaminophen.

    Things you could do to remedy the situation would be breaking a pill in half and/or taking it with food or milk, this should make it easier on your stomach.
