Is Periodontal Disease in cats more commen then oral cancer in cats?

Yes it is - cats need dental care just like us humans do.  By the time they are a couple of years old, most cats have some sort of periodontal disease, and many can stand a dental cleaning.  It just progresses, and then leads to cavities, abscesses, and so on - same as humans.
