Perth is quite beautiful, but I think Adelaide has a good chance at the beauty crown.  

Even so,  I lived in Perth for 4 years (and yes, I am a West Aussie) and I do think Perth has it all over the other major capitals in the lifestyle stakes.   There are about one and a half million people living in Perth.

I would have to say that Sydney is the most beautiful in my opinion, followed by Perth.

No chance. Sydney Harbour on a nice day is a veritable jewel. Everyone I know who comes here says so. Don't just take it from a Sydneysider.

No not at all, if you want really beauty you need to go outside the main cities. Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston or even further regional so you can see the real beauty of the land without the cities skyscrapers and traffic constricting your views.

The population of Perth is around 1.5 million. Its just another normal city really, each have got some beauty but the real beauty is beyond the city.
