Is Phoenix, Arizona farther than Forks, Washington?

I'm starting to get interested in Twilight by Stephanie Meyers even though I haven't read it. I'm in this Twilight Club that is thinking of going to italy at first (but too expensive) then washington/phoenix (small chance, but there's a possibility!) I think the shorter the distance the less money having to be fund raised... so, which is farther?

This is a similar question to what one professor started the first day of class with.  He asked which is farther and named two cities, but didn't state where he was starting from.  His point was that we need to be specific I think.

I don't know for sure which one is further, but I know Phoneix is easier to get to. You have to say which part of Cali, cause nothern california is a whole lot closer to forks that southern california.

Forks is in the middle of nowhere, and I beleive their only tavern closed resontly.  sometimes you can't even get over there because of problems in the road.

it depends on where you live! i live in phoenix! the weather is perfect right now but past May and your gonna be here for the really HOT weather like 120's! ha! but phoenix is fun! big city! really big! lots of things to do! if you want to go swimming and still be warm the whole time then i think you should come out in the summer but if your coming out for the beautful spring weather you got til april!
