Is Photoshop useful???

Is it free? And can I make comics with it?

its best to always start of with hand sketching comics.  Photoshop is the opposite of free (very expensive)  should cost around $500, but is very useful when it comes to coloring in the sketchess you have created.  

Don't dive straight into photoshop head first.  Get someone to help you first , or You will get frustrated and not like the program. Photoshop has been around for a long time and is an extremely powerful tool, if you use it correctly.

Photoshop is very useful and very NOT free.  It would not be the best program to make comics with, though.

I agree with duncan. Illustrator would be more up your alley my friend.

Photoshop costs 649$ for cs3.

I use it all the time for my web design business.

Useful for image manipulation, not so hot at cooking.

Not free- expensive.

You could make comics with it, but you'd probably be better off with Illustrator.

photoshop is very useful for editing photos, not so much for cartoon (although its possible)

it is not free unfortunately. you can always try to find cracked ones online, but it takes time, and is illegal.

Extremely useful and definitely not free.

I can see the use in shading and enhancing comics, but I wouldn't use it to create comics. Though it is possible.
