Is Piolet legal and does it damage your computer?

I wanted to do download music for free so i started downloading music from Piolet but recently my computer has been slower and I have been getting pop ups, is this because of Piolet?

It probably is, anything like Piolet has a good chance of damaging your computer. I'd recommend uninstalling it and scanning your computer.

Piolet looks like a torrent client.  that means that you're downloading from other people running it and similar programs.  If they have viruses on their computers, you have them now.

You may save some money on music,  but you'll pay it, and more, in getting your computer fixed, or in buying a new computer.
