  1. i worked in  a pharmacy till recently and have never heard of this over the counter it may be something on prescription but i have not heard of it, if u can give any more info i may be able to help any other names or what its for


  2. No, Placidyl (or Ethchlorvynol) is only available through doctors prescription, and its not commercially available at all in Canada. It is used as a remedy for sleeplessness.

  3. It isn't listed in the BNF, so I guess that means it's not available either OTC or on prescription in the UK.
