Is Planet X real, and if it is real do you think it will crash in to the earth in 2012?

  1. how "planet X" was found:

Someone was tracking the orbit of Neptune and Pluto. During part of the orbit they notied that both planets were speeding up and then slowing down, as though pulled and dragged on by gravity from a very large mass.

No one yet knows really if planet X is a real planet just that there is something non-luminous out there.

No, unless its space aliens, it will not crash into the Earth in only a hundred years

  2. Not real and as it is not real, it will not crash into Earth.

And Sitchin couldn't even navigate from Earth to the Moon let alone tell what influences Plutos Orbit. Whatever friends are talking to him in his sleep, they are not into spaceflight at all. And he can't even read Sumerian.

  3. What are you smoking.  Nothing is going to end the world.  Other than man.

  4. No, it does not exist.  It was supposed to be here in 2003 by a woman who claimed to be in telepathic contact with aliens from Zeta Reticuli.  Would you believe that? Nobody saw anything in 2003 and nobody will in 2012.   Of course it might be invisible, have no size and be weightless.

  5. Lets do some calculations here...:

Planet X doesn't exist. So if Planet X doesn't exist how could Planet X crash into us?

  6. No,where do you get such weird ideas from.Nothing is going to happen untill kalki comes.

  7. yep

  8. take a look at this wikipedia article:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet_X

there are a lot of doomsday "theories" out there regarding 2012.  remember, if the world is coming to an instantaneous end, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. so why worry?

here's an interesting site that makes an attempt to chronical the *many* doomsdays throughout history:

  9. Yes, but no, it won't crash into Earth.  One of its moons might, however.  Scientists know it's out there.  They just cannot admit it to the public for fear of panic.  The orbits of Pluto and Neptune are affected by something and they know it is PX.

    Read Sitchin's works.

I would dismiss any answer which categorically claims to "know" that Planet X does not exist.  If that knowledge were so firm, why would astronomers continue to look for it?

A planetarium was built in Chile, with funds from NASA, to scan the southern skies for any such object.  Now why would they do that if there is no Planet X?

  10. Which planet X are you talking about?

The one associated with the Big 2012 Hoax Off does not exist (of course).

The name "Planet X" as used by astronomers (real ones) refers to the yet undiscovered planet that is deemed to exist beyond the orbit of Neptune.

X is for unknown (like in math).

When Pluto was found, it was thought to be this planet X.  However, the more we found out about Pluto, the more convinced everyone became that it was not Planet X (it is waaay too small -- only 1/6 the mass of our Moon).

So the search for Planet X continues.  All we have is statistical "evidence", meaning that there is a strong probability that it exists (no proof).  This planet X would be in a relatively stable orbit, well beyond the orbit of Neptune.  It would never come anywhere close to our portion of the solar system.  Not in 2012, not in 2085, not in any other year.

The "Planet X" linked to 2012 does not exist.

  11. Technically, the term "planet x" means the tenth planet (X is the roman numeral for 10); there's just no specified name.

An object has been found residing in the Kiper belt that's estimated to be 30-70 percent of Earth's mass. It's been dubbed "Planet X", but don't let the name fool you. It's merely a fairly large sized object in the outer reaches of the solar system, just like another smaller but fairly large object (dwarf planet) called Sedna.

There's nothing that points to any sort of crashing into Earth in the year 2012. This "Planet X" has an irregular eliptical orbit that is FIXED; it will not deviate from it's present course anytime soon. Any other stories associated with "Planet X" are bogus and shouldn't be taken seriously, it's inconsistent with science and should be considered science fiction.

I've included a link from SPACE.COM (supported through yahoo news) explaining the issue further.
