im think about it whats the point of it, I just dont get the same feel as the Wii remote,

i played motorstorm and the motion sensitive controls just seemed really ...... well POINTLESS like they were only trying to mock Nintendo's idea at the last minute, and i heard they were even bring out something similar to the Wii remote called the Waggle?

if you have any info on the "Waggle" please give me a link

  1. It is pretty pointless.  Most games minimize the usage of sense controls, or provide options to turn it off.  Motion sensing really seemed to be a filler technology since the PS3 controller initially lacked rumble support, since Sony was in a legal battle with the tech company that owned patents on the rumble tech used in the DUALSHOCK.  DUALSHOCK 3 controllers are now available.

  2. I like the sixaxis on Ratchet n Clank and its also really good on Blazing Angels.

    never heard of Waggle

  3. zo6_lover your really stupid you never played mario kart wii.the controller is not bad at all!the game is way better than the ps3 your just mad cause the wii has better motion sensor

  4. It isn't senseless, Motorstorm simply has a bad algorithm - the one in Ratchet and Clank - Tools of Destruction is stunning, believe me. And the one in Super Rub'a'Dub, too.

  5. kinda they are. i really don't think of the ps3's controller completely senseless, i just think of it as a nice addition. i really don't believe that it's supposed to take complete control of the system but just to be a nice little add on. and about this waggle i think i heard it before but i really don't have any information on it, i actually believe it has something to do with the dualshock. but hey, at least they have it. see developers need to take advantage of this sixaxis controller and frankly, i think there a bit lazy. I think it would be cool to be put in racing games but with better controls. but oh well, it's not that big of a deal

  6. Sony added it in the last minute.

Basically the playstation is the deformed child Microsoft and Nintendo...

  7. Well, they're better for some other games. And in most games they're optional in case you prefer the analog sticks

  8. For one thing, have you ever tried to play Mario Kart Wii? The motion controls for that game are just absolutely horrible, in Motorstorm you can actually control the cars. Sixaxis was not meant to copy the Wii. Nintendo and Sony just had similar ideas at the same time.

I have never heard of "waggle"
