Is Pogo the best internet play site for non-savvy ordinary people?

I know there are more complex game sites on the internet, but I want to know the best one for ordinary folks who maybe don't do that kind of thing very often. What I am looking for is the best site for games on the internet as kind of a starter course on computer games.

Free of gimmicks and tricks. Just good interesting basic free games that would be safe for kids and grandma and the whole family.

Safe for the whole family? Yes. Pogo would be the way to go. There are games that kids would enjoy, such as Poppit, or however it's spelled. There's games for everyone; there are slots, card games, pool and bowling, and lots of that kind of fun stuff. There's a chat in every game room, but it's a friendly community, not much ever goes down in the chats; just usually people congratulating other people for winning, or whatever the case may be.

So yeah. Pogo has games for anyone, of any age. The best thing about it is that as you play, you earn tokens, which you can put into a drawing to win real money, or if you're under 18, then other prizes such as gift cards.

I believe Pogo is one of the best. I use it from time to time, and I was able to jump right in without knowing much about internet games. You don't have to download anything you don't want to.

Pogo is great but there is ABSOLUTLEY NO internet site safe for everyone. There are filters, and a button to turn off chat but they kids acn always turn it back on. I went into a room with a spare name with my own daughter a few weeks ago only to be told all kinds of information about our family. I trust her 100% but a teenager just does not understand how certain information can be used to gain other information.

Anyhow I LOVE pogo :)

ETA anyone who thinks chat is calm in Pogo is dissillusioned. Seriously.

Yeah, Pogo has games like Poppit, Word Whomp and Sweet Tooth that don't have gimmicks or tricks.
