  1. No popcorn is actually a pretty good source of fiber, it's the butter that you put on it that's bad for your training.  without the oil or butter, it's no different than any other carb.

  2. I don't know about taking away your breath but corn isn't good for you so just don't eat it. it actually isn't a vegitable like most people think it is a grain. As for what you should eat go to crossfit.com for more information on fitness and nutrition.

  3. If you're sparring, then eating popcorn may do more than just "take your breath away."  If you're in training and your biggest concern is if you can eat popcorn during training, you should think about another "sport" -- like checkers.

How can anyone say whether you can get ready for a fight in two weeks if you don't say how many rounds the fight is scheduled for and how long it's been since your last fight?  Also, how "conditioned" do you want to be?  If you are betting on a knockout in round one, you're probably okay -- for that one round.  If you want to be conditioned to finish round three the way you started round one, two weeks won't do it from where you're starting.

If you're really looking to box, you need a trainer who can get you ready.  A message board won't do it.

  4. Popcorn?? No its not that bad but i wouldnt take it while traing for a fight..

Well you need to condition for the long run any one can last for 1 or 2 rounds but its the fighter who can go to the 12th that will most likley win.

To work on conditiong run every day for at least a mile,

jump rope for 12 rounds 3 mins... each and take a 1 min.. break between each round as if you were in a real boxing match  that will get your body and lungs in the routine

"4 sets, 50 reps of push ups 4 sets 50 reps crunches

work on upperbody back strenght your legs and

if possible work out on your neck,, that will help you to absorb puches to the chin better

mike tyson had a 19 inch neck when he was 18.

remember it goes conditioning, heart and technique
