I'd say so, I don't really know how they got in the Grand Final last year, it certainly was expected. I think Port have been through a good cycle in the past few years, and maybe it's time for them to rebuild a little.

**Statisically the only team that cannot make the 2008 AFL premiership is Melbourne.  Every other team has a chance of making it.

As for whether they will make it though, I seriously doubt it.  Even if they start playing well and winning a few more games, they have to beat teams who are a lot better than they are and I can't see that happening.**

After they flog the Tigers, they might be able to string a few wins together, I think they still have a chance.

They are still in Finals contention, but if they make it they wont be high enough on the ladder to get the double chance, and will more than likely miss a home final. If they make the 8 it will be a tough road for them to get to the GF
