Question:

Is Porthcawl in Wales racist?

I'm going there for a holiday with my family and my lovely friends have said that it's very racist there and that I'm going to get stoned. I'm sure they're over exaggerating but it's got me a bit worried. Will I come out alive? This isn't meant to be insulting to anyone who lives there btw. It's just what I've been told.

  1. I've lived there for 20 years and this is the first time I've heard it referred to as racist! Although like the above poster mentioned, I'd steer clear of England shirts just in case! Hope you enjoy your holiday.

  2. Of course you're not going to get stoned !

You may hear some 'friendly banter' if you're wearing an England Rugby shirt but as a general rule , the Welsh are the friendliest group of people in the world.

Trecco Bay is the biggest caravan site in Europe, I believe, and attracts people from all over world. There is a nice beach, good shopping, great fairground

    Enjoy !
