  1. Let's think! Why did President Bush go to Vietnam if Vietnam don't attract foreign investment ? Vietnam is a beautyful country. He want to help Vietnam at moment and future.

  2. Let the Vietcong keep him there,as a POW !

  3. he'e a shameles b*****d ! and viet nam as been tainted by his arrival.

  4. He didn't go to Vietnam in the 60s because his rich daddy pulled strings. No doubt he's too stupid to see the irony in going now.

  5. From that point of view, so was President Clinton when he visited Vietnam in 2000, but I didn't see any ruckus about it then.  Why now?  If anything, this trip of President Bush is more important than President Clinton's trip, as Mr. Bush still has two more years to run this country and will possibly make a few decisions affecting Vietnam's economy.  President Clinton's trip, in 2000, was a mostly decorative trip made in the remaining months of his presidency.  That is why I was a little bit surprised that President Bush wasn't that welcomed during his trip; a loss for Vietnam, I'd say.

  6. Yes.  I love what I heard on the radio yesterday:  "President Bush went to Vietnam...finally."

  7. The real question here is.... why didn't president bush conquer vietnam in the 1960's?

  8. bush was president in the 60's?
