all DOT 3 brake fluids are basically the same.  There maybe slight variations in compositions since brake fluids are mixtures.  But they all meet the requirements of the DOT 3 standard.

They might be chemically a little different.  But they will work exactly the same.

To get the DOT 3 certification they have to meet a set of standards for all DOT 3 brake fluids.

A bottle of Prestone DOT 3 brake fluid is interchangeable with Wagner, AutoZone, O'Riellys or anyone elses.
