Is Price, Thurston, Slater, Inglis & Fallou (Israel), the best backline ever ?

Believe me i'm a true blue NSW man, but apart from Sterlo, Kenny, Cronin, Growth, Taylor etc... is this the worlds best ever backline that QLD have atm ?

Even though atleast 2 of them are actually NSW men, in maroon jerseys!

  2. None of the queensland team are NSW men.. what?

    They are all queenslanders, thats why they play for queensland in state of ORIGIN. Billy slater, one of our best players calls some to north queensland even though he plays for Melbourne in the NRL.

    any combination would have to be up there with the greats...although the backline wally and alfie had in the early nineties was pretty good. wally, alfie, miles etc, then you got the years with renouf. gee qld have had some good backs!!!

  4. They are and what must be diappointing for NSW is that there is the pssibility of them continuing for a number of years.  Qld needs to start grooming some forwards to take over from Price & Pedro C.

  5. You mean Prince, with the rest of the QLD backline. Yes they are the best, and yet for many yrs to come.

  6. No... Lockyer would be part of that over Prince, but that back line is truly gifted. Your missing Tate and boyd? I don't really rate those two, but they ARE a part of the backline. Also I thought it was Hunt that was named 1. Anyway, you're right about some of them being New South Welshmen and lets not forget kiwis (cough-Hunt-cough).

    As a New South Welshmen I'm really disappointed by the loss. Queenslanders ALWAYS get their fairytale finish. The NSW selectors got it wrong. We just didn't have the players who could could pull out the perfect play.

    anyway. im an afl fan in melbourne, was shown live

    looked like QLD actually didnt play that well and NSW wasted many tackles and chances to score

    also gave away silly line breaks
