  1. are chimps christians? if so, then yes definately! ;)

  2. Yup, he's christian.

  3. He was baptised and raised Anglican.  I'm not sure how much he believes in it.  Several years ago I heard that he agrees with a lot of Buddhist beliefs, and that he would like the term "Defender of the Faith" be changed to "Defender of Faiths" to better represent the makeup of his country.

  4. Since the titular Head of the Church of England is the King or Queen of the UK and Prince Charles has been brought up to be King one day then - yes, he is technically a Christian, after all his first Marriage was in St Pauls Cathedral and his second marriage was blessed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

He does, however, have a lot of interest in other faiths and has visited the houses of worship of nearly every other religion in this country e.g Synagogues, mosques, hindu temples, etc.

  5. Yes, the Prince of Wales is a Christian.

    best of luck to you!

  6. if he was a real christian, hed know that in the bible  Jesus said he hated divorce, so why did he divorce Di?

  7. of course... what else would he be?

  8. All of the Royal Family are brought up to be Christians.

  9. Since I'm not God and not his judge, I have no way of knowing the answer to your question. Just because someone is raised a certain way doesn't mean they are a believer.

  10. Yes and he has to be - when he is King, he will be 'Defender of the Faith' which is head of the Church of England so we expect a Christian in this role!

  11. As a baby he was reported as having been christened and was brought up as an Anglican. So I assume him to be a Christian (and future "Defender of the faith").

  12. He is gullible enough to believe in homoeopathy and a host of new age c**p, so I suppose he would have no trouble swallowing Xtianity. Technically, of course, he is the next head of the CofE and defender of the faith!

  13. Yes. He is also a tree hugging plant talking loony toon too lol

  14. He is protestant, Henry the 8th denounced the Pope and Catholicism so he could divorce his first wife. He started the Church of England which was a form of Christianity that did not answer to the Pope and was less strict. Now the large majority of British folks are some form of Christian, but not Catholic.

  15. I think he must be.

He must be able to "pick up" God with ears like that!

  16. Yes, The Prince Charles of Wales is a Protestant. He has to be anyways in order to be in the line of succession to the British throne. Catholics are forbbiden to ascend the throne since the Church of England is led by the Supreme Head/Governor of the Church of England.  Supreme Head is the title for a King, and Supreme Governor is the title for a Queen.

The title was created for Henry VIII, who was responsible for the English church breaking away from the authority of the Roman Catholic Church after the Pope excommunicated Henry in 1533 over his annulment from Catherine of Aragon. By 1536 Henry had broken with Rome, seized the church's assets in England and declared the Church of England as the established church with himself as its head. The Act of Supremacy of 1534 confirmed the King's status as having supremacy over the church and required the nobility to swear an oath recognising Henry's supremacy.

The line of succession to the British Throne is an ordered list of the people in line to succeed to the throne of the United Kingdom. The succession is regulated by the Act of Settlement 1701, which limits it to the heirs of the Electress Sophia of Hanover, as determined by male-preference primogeniture, religion, and legitimate birth:

    - A person is always immediately followed in the succession by his or her own legitimate descendants (his or her "line"). Birth order and gender matter: older sons (and their lines) come before younger sons (and theirs); a person's sons (and their lines), irrespective of age, all come before his or her daughters (and their lines).

    - The monarch must be a Protestant at time of accession, and enter into communion with the Church of England after accession.

    - Anyone who is Roman Catholic, becomes Roman Catholic, or marries a Roman Catholic is permanently excluded from the succession.

    - A person born to parents who are not married to each other at the time of birth is not included in the line of succession. The subsequent marriage of the parents does not alter this.
