No.  That honor goes to Sidney Ponson.  Fielder didn't throttle his manager; Ponson did as did Sprewell.

Fielder apoplogized, and the situation is resolved.  They are barely holding onto the WC, and tension is rising.  It shows they are passionate if anything.  It could possibly even be a spark they were looking for.

there was no intent to physically harm Parra, unlike the Sprewell situation, where Latrell choked his coach.

C'mon, stop trying to make comparisons because that's a very bad one. MANY ballplayers have had fights with teammates and they aren't all little Sprewell's.
