Not by comparison with some of our more distant Royalty, if you think he's got problems, read up on the Tudors, now there was Royal house who knew how to party.

Queen Victoria took cannabis for her menstrual cramps, would you say she was a bad monarch? She certainly didn't shorten her life any by taking it did she?

The Queen Mother (Queen Mary) drank alcohol daily and took arsenic evey day too, lots of royalty used to take small doses of toxins to try and build up a resistance to poisoning. Princess Margaret famously and publicly got drunk as a skunk regularly and smoked like a proverbial chimney.

He'd be checked in to rehab if they thought for one second he needed help. He's an officer in the British Armed Forces, he drinks with and as much as his men, no more no less. Are all soldiers addicted to alcohol? You'd better hope not, they may have all our lives in their hands one day.

If Harry has a problem, it's living in a goldfish bowl and not being allowed to grow up motherless without a critical audience.

Thank goodness there was no such thing as television & paparazzi in Henry VIII's day eh?

He's no more addicted to alcohol than any other man is his early 20's. He's just in the public eye.

Leave the poor kid alone. I lost my mother at his age and it does to mess you up. Give him a chance to rebel and enjoy himself a bit, just what most of us want at his age. I'm sure it won't lead to anything to bad. Best of luck Harry and I hope it all turns out ok. They are seriously making a big fuss out of not very much. I think he's a young man sowing his oats, and I wish the press would stop hounding him. It must be awful coping with the aftermath of Diana's death, as with the scandals of both parents behavior. He and the rest of the Royals just need to be left the h**l alone, but of course they won't be.

I believe he possibly is addicted to many varieties of indulgences  - however after all the press and not going it Iraq , plus his mothers death constantly being re-visited a boy his age must work through all the issues he confronts....Just let Him be..........

No. He drinks the same amount as most young guys of his age. It just seems worse for him because he has cameras pointed at him all the time waiting for him to put a foot wrong.

Poor guy can't even go out for a few drinks with his mates without being called an alcoholic.
