  1. No! Progressive is horrible.

    Progressive:

    (1) Tries to steer insureds and claimants to their network shops-which is illegal. They say this is the customer's option but when 48% of the employees raise is based on getting cars to the "network" it is steering;

    (2) Mandates to a bodyshop on how to do repairs. Ok who knows how to repair a vehicle, someone who has been working at a body shop for 20 years or someone who has been to progressive's training class?

    (3) Tries to pay for after market parts to go on claimant vehicles; this is also illegal and as a claimant you DO NOT have to accept this.

    Honestly, I could go on and on.... Progressive will s***w anyone they can for a healthy bottom line including customers, claimants, and employees.

  2. Very good... Both to clients and agents.  To me they are the easiest company to work w/ as far as payments, endorsments, etc. Great technology.  They treat their customers wonderfully.

  3. in my humble opinion they are not the worst and they are not the best.  i would NOT carry them though as I have many problems with shops in the area and the adjusters.  there are too many better companies out there for me to use them.

  4. I use progressive and they are awesome. I couldn't ask for better, or more expensive!! Although you could try the site below and see if they can compare rates and help you out on the financial level.... Good Luck!
