    We are a organized and un-incorpored territory of the USA (for all practical means a colony although many in USA and PR object the use of that term).

    According to the US Supreme Court a territory "belongs" to the USA but it is not a "part" of the USA.

    Your clothes "belongs" to you, they are not "part" of you as your feet are.

  6. Yes, it is part of Puerto Rico, but it is not a state.  I'm pretty sure that it is a territory.
