  1. No,not even close. and Stalin was a Georgian.don't be live the media rhetoric. he's doing what Russia needs to do Geo politically on their own border.

  2. Yup... and Obama's the antichrist.

  3. Putin is no Hitler.

    Putin is Stalin.

McCain was quoted as saying when he looked into putin's eyes, all he saw was KGB.

This man wants to bring about the USSR again

Saakashvili neeeds to be backed by america and european powers

he's an elected official in a democratic nation and he needs to be supported

    suspen russia from NATO

kick them out of the G8

and boycott the 2014 winter olympics in Sochi

  4. Well, if you study Hitler's ascent, as I have you would realize it is not really the same. But I will agree that this guy has the potential for those types of actions. He is a bad dude and must be watched closely for sure.

  5. He is a mini-Stalin.  He will continue to push until we push back. Unfortunately, he won't be satisfied until he gets a lot of people killed.  He is an old school KGB official.  He also suffers from "little man syndrome".

  6. What?

    Putin is nothing like Hitler.

Why is everyone acting like Georgia has absolutely no fault at this? They attacked south ossetia while it had russian Peacekeeprs in the area and they expected the US to come to help them. When that didnt happen they got routed.

Putin/Mendedev probably shouldn't have used as much force as they did. And last time i checked, the Russians werent trying to annex South Ossetia and Abkhazia. They're trying to get the rest of the world to recognize them as autonomous nations.

  7. Wait a sec...Georgia attacked S. Ossetia first and killed 2000+. S. Ossetia was a UN International Peace zone at the time of the attack.  Russian peacekeepers along with civilians were killed in this unprovoked attack against a region that was very pro-Russian and anti-Saakashvili and wanted independence from Georgia anyway.  So to answer your question, no, Putin is not modern Hitler, or even the president of Russia anymore. And by alienating a nuclear superpower from international organizations will only push it to belligerence.

But now that we're on the subject of wwiii we forget the high cost Russia paid in fighting the n**i's in wwii. The Russians sustained the highest casualties in the war 30+mil mostly on their own soil.  Their ability to break Hitlers advance into Moscow and drive them back was the defeat that cost the n**i's the war.  The Russian contribution to the wwii story has been played down as trivial and insignificant by the west during the cold war which has no doubt embarrassed them and contributed to Russia's distrust of the west.  I thnk we should be careful with Russia because I doubt they'll let anybody hurt them like they did in wwii again not with all those nukes.
