Is R&S just all about you?

I've noticed that people will sometimes post the most illiterate or drunken or incomprehensible question and yet still get 15 answers, all of them different from each other.

Is R&S just a rorschach ink blot for most answerers, where you don't really read or care about the question, you just want to state your opinion and agenda?

All types of flippant nonsense answers are posted because many shallow people prefer to take up time and space irresponsibly.  NO, R&S is not all about the writer.  There is actually a progression that is happening among the sincere.  Sort through the c**p offered and pick out the gems for your individual situation.  If anyone wishes to improve in any area of their life, they will be sorting through the c**p offered by those around, to pick out the gems of life that actually work.

I do not think everyone does have an agenda. I think most(not all) answers to the questions you highlight are simply to get 2 points.

There are some folk who genuinely try to figure out the real meaning behind the question, in order to give a balanced answer.  .

Have not heard of the Rorschach ink blots in years.  I remember a teacher at college getting them for us to try.  We had great fun with them.

Most of us come here to say what WE want to say. Yes, this is true of me as well.  I do read the questions, and I do try to answer them in a thoughtful way. But I do it from my own perspective, as do we all.

It seems that way.

Most people want everyone to hear their thoughts even if they don't pertain to the topic or contain anything worth reading.  People are desperate to be heard a great deal of the time.
