Is Raptors underrated for coming season?

Question

They acquired jermaine o'neal and calderon was in consideration for an all star at one point. After Ford was injured, calderon performed at all star level for 3 months until ford's return which for some reason slumped him back.

I dont think raptors will be anywehre close to championship contenders the coming season but a decent team. 76ers seem to grab all the media after acquiring Brand but raptors get no love for acquiring o'neal.

chris bosch will be better at the pf now that jermain o neil is c. caldron is a pretty good pg. they also have some shooters in delfino and kopono. i think they can be very productive because covering o neil and bosh will require ocasional double teams so caldron can find wide open shooters and when the defense moves closer to the three point line bosch will be scoring points. a great inside outside offense.

yeah, they got jermaine, and with bosh, and calderon, and others, they're surely gonna make some noise.  Definately, they are a force in the East now.  I see them finishing behind only boston in the regular season, and going on to play the champs for next years east title.. That is, unless Detroit or Clevland makes a sudden move and gets a big player. but in the league, as is, they would be dominant in the east.

Yes, they are underrated and will surprise a lot of people. With the addition of J. Oneal the raptors will be in the playoffs and maybe can make it all the way to the East Finals

Yes im a toronto raptors fan and i do think we r underrated... a reason why we r that is that all other teams r american and thats why america saying toronto isnt going anywhere but just you wait.. americans think we r a canadian team dats why they think we r just a team that can b easily beat. i do agree they will become 4th seed this year if jermaine stays healthy and if calderon starts playing like when ford was gone.. which he is right now... there will be a day when the raptors will win it.. and when that days comes i will b happy

The Raptors are gonna rule next season. They got J O'neal, Chris Bosh, Jose Calderon, Jamario Moon, and Anthony Parker. They're all great, and I think Joey Graham has alot of potential since he has alot of athletism and hops. I think that the Raptors are good for the 2nd seed this year, and will make it to atleast the Eastern Conference Finals. Yes, they are underrated.

its because o'neal is injury prone. he had his best year in 03-04 and since the brawl (or after his 55 pts to milwaukee, his first game back from suspension), it isnt what it used to be

he's a great addition and with bosh that punch 1-2 is deadly to any frontcourt, but the injury side that has bothered him lowers him

I would say if oneal is healthy, the raptors are behind the Celtics, pistons for contention and tied with the magic

this season shoud be great

It will be hard for the Raptors to be there. The Celtics and Cavs are going to be even better. Don't think there yet.
