I'm going to see wicked for my 16th birthday at Gershwin th. in NYC. My mum didn't want to pay for the real expensive seats so we got tickets for Rear Mezz row J are these good seats? Has anyone every been? Are the actors to far away? I just want to know so I can prepair myself for what the seats are like.

  1. I don't know, but the show sure is!!!!!!

Enjoy "Wicked", its the BEST musical of our time!

  2. Mezzanine is the balcony, and rear would be near the back. Now I've never been to the Gershwin, but if you're worried about not being able to see the actors you may want to bring binoculars or opera glasses.

Given that the shows are sold out, and this seating chart shows you were you are,,,approximately, I don't see a point of stress.

Rear Mezz isn't what you'd need Binoculars for, but it isn't IN YOUR FACE theater either.

In a very real sense, the Acting at any point in the performance is at least 30 ft. away from row 1, first Mezz.

    Just my 2 "scents"
