Is Red Sox Nation the biggest fan club in Baseball?

I guess by reading all your recent questions, you are one of the newest members to join the bandwagon.  I see many people wearing Boston Red Sox baseball caps in Northern Va where I live but they are women wearing the pink caps & it's all fashion to them but for some reason I have noticed a lot more people wearing Yankees & Dodger baseball caps though. Yankees I say have a bigger fan base though

Yes because they've won some world series but not more than the yankees. Boston has a lot of fans because there apart of history (the oldest stadium in MLB history).

I'm in and I have been for as long as I can remember. My nana was the biggest Sox fan I've ever met in my life. (And that was back in the 70's)

The funny thing about Red Sox nation is that I don't remember any of this in the 70s, 80s, or 90s. I believe the Red Sox "faithful" has a great number of members, but not all of us want to be in the Red Sox Nation Fan Club.

I'd have to say the Yankees fanbase is larger nationally. Sox fans have been there, but alot more have jumped on that bandwagon in the last five years.
