I remember watching her interview with Diane and some other girl before the season premiered, and I recall her saying Chalmette. The show just says New Orleans because the general population is more familiar with that.

i think i heard something about her being originally from Chalmette, but that may have been Steve [also from Louisiana]. I'm from Northeast Louisiana so I wouldn't know anything about who sounds like they are from where.
