Is Rent being replaced by High School Musical?

I know Rent is closing on broadway in September but I heard it's getting replaced with something called High School Musical: The Broadway Version. Is this true? Can somebody confirm this?

Yes it is. Disney booked the theater.

RENT's theatre, the Nederlander Theatre, after Sept 7*, will   be booked by Disney for High School Musical. RENT is closing b/c of poor ticket sales, so since without it the theatre will be vacant, Disney chose it.

* RENT may be extending through December 28.

omg I hope not. High School Musical is something from the Disney Channel. Disney is great, but I'd rather keep Disney at Disney.

I will honestly go to NYC and BURN DOWN the Nederlander so that it isn't defiled by the pile of **** that is High School Musical.
