Is Riu Caribe a good hotel?

The Riu Caribe is a nice resort. although it is further down away from the party central area of Cancun. You will have to catch a bus to get to clubs and shopping. While you stay at the Caribe you will have access to the Riu Cancun which is really in the center of all the action. The only Riu that you will not be able to go to will be the Riu Palace Las Americas. I have been to all three, we stay at the RPLA and have visited both sister resorts and they are nice. Just not as grand as the RPLA. RPLA also has a bit better service and top shelf drinks.

The RIU chain of hotels has a very good reputation and is well-respected here in this area and among travel agents.  Most rating systems give it at least 4 out of 5 stars.  Reviews on Trip Advisor are overwhelmingly positive.

Look at it on line and it will also rate it.

I've seen it from the outside only, hard to say..........area looks good.
