Question:

Is Robert Horry the best clutch shooter ever in the NBA?

The guy makes big shots happen. He's one very dangerous man once he step's back behind that 3 line.

He's unstobbable 3 point shooting machine.

Some people say he's "just another role player" I say he's much more than that.

You take on this?

  1. he is just a role player... there was one year for the lakers that he completely was invisible during the playoffs... the year they went to the finals against the pistons. horry was horrible. he had a good 5-6 year run as making a couple of good late game shots.  but I definitely think he's just a role player. definitely not HOF... the plays were never called for him for the end of games. jordan, kobe, reggie miller... those are clutch shooters

  2. Ever heard of Jerry West? His nickname was "Mr. Clutch."

  3. the man a beast when it comes to the threes....and big shots...

  4. Robert Horry, more accurately defined, is the best three-point clutch shooter in the NBA, ever.

  5. he isnt the BEST but id take him over other stars unless its someone like Kobe Lebron Arenas etc.

  6. If I were to choose the best clutch shooter ever in the NBA I think I would choose Steve Kerr over Robert Horry.

  7. NO. Reggie miller or mj would have to be. but big shot rob is up there on the list

  8. the best clutch shooter would be Jerry West of the Lakers in 60's.  nickname? Mr Clutch.

Horry is a clutch shooter, everyone knows that, but there are others still better.  Jordan was clutch.  EVERYBODY has seen the countless replays on youtube and what not.  Reggie Miller.

People go on about Kobe being clutch, but he isn't clutch per-se, but rather just a scoring machine.

Arenas is (or was) becoming a clutch shooter before he got injured, so he could be the next clutch shooter in the NBA (once big shot rob finally retires)

  9. I'll take Arenas, with an exception of free-throw situations.

  10. Larry Bird... thats all i have to say

  11. If not the best, then right up there. Another name for consideration would be Reggie Miller.

  12. I'll always will take Kobe over Horry but .. Horry is one of the best  Clutch player

  13. Not is but Was ONE of the best

    Time to retire

He was not a knockdown three point shooter who will never miss but he was an okay three point shooter

He just always had the knack to make the shot when it counted

Some are born with it and some are not

  14. I agree, he's not just another role player.

  15. yea

  16. Well he is clutch thats for sure, but in many different ways then just shootin from behind the 3 point line. The guy was super clutch and quick on his feet when he saw small MVP point guard running towards him ready to either score or make a remarkable pass, he just simply took him out of the picture and checked him right into the scoreboard table. Now thats what I call clutch, the dude even got an extra bonus for that one..............two of our starters suspended. Because of his super clutch skills they went on to win a championship!!!

  17. Jerry West. End of discussion.

  18. What up Pistons Fan,

If you're just talking about the NBA playoffs- i would have to say he's got to be in the converasation and the best that i've seen in this era when it comes to playoff 3 pointers in clutch situations with the game on the line.  Big shot Bob!!
