Is Rock 'n Roller Coaster a good ride to get on for a first loop?

I am going to Walt Disney World for vacation in about a week, and I have never been on a loop or corkscrew before! So is that a good ride to go on?I am pretty scared too, should I close my eyes or is it better to keep them open? Also I wanna get on Tower of terror, is that is the dark the whole time or what? Do you think I should just find out on my own? HELP!

I am an 11 year old girl, small framed, short (4'6), thin (66 lbs), very small! Does it have alot of protection???

Rock N' Rollercoaster was my first loop, too! and I was right around your age. You really don't get the whole effect of the ride if your eyes are closed. They really put alot of effort into the story of it all and you'll miss it! and its dark anyway! SUCH A FUN RIDE!

Tower of terror is pretty scary, but you'll be fine. you get a lap belt. and on rock n' rollercoaster you get a chest belt, too.

Rock N Roller Coaster sounds and look intimidating when you're waiting to load. You know that noise you hear when cars drive away fast like a screeching noise, well they play that to make it sound even faster. The take off goes from 0-60 mph in a few seconds so you can imagine it's fast but it's worth it. I'm the biggest chicken in the world and I love this ride. The corkscrew is nothing. Just think, if you go on and don't like it it will literally be over in a minute.

Tower of Terror has great scenery and decorations in the line, it really makes you feel like you're in a real hotel lobby. What happens in Tower of Terror is they bring you and a group of people into this room that looks like a library and they show you a clip from the show the Twilight Zone. Then they bring you into a boiler room (fake) and the people get seperated into two line and there are two different elevators you can go into. This line is dark but not scary. Then they seat you in an elevator with restraints and everything and the elevator goes up and you stop at one floor and the shaft moves foward and it's dark, you see stars and then you see some fake ghosts and then the drops begin. The drops last about 2-3 minutes and it's really a smooth ride. It feels even smoother than when you drop on an airplane from the turbulance.

it doesn't matter how big or small you are when you go on a loop roller coaster... i haven't been to walt disney world but i have been on loops. Loops just feel like leaning back for a long time and all you see is the blue sky. closing your eyes would make it scarier because all you feel is the loop and it makes you a little confused.

Tower of Terror i have never been on, the one in California is open at thetop before you drop. Good luck dont be afraid it only lasts 3 seconds :)

Rock n Roller Coaster was my first loop and it was fantastic. Scary as h**l, but great fun. Especially at the start, 0 to 60mph in 2.8 seconds. You have to go on it, it is truly amazing!

Rock n' Roller Coaster is a great ride, id dark so you don't have to close your eyes, the protection is great, they have chest supprts so you will feel secure. You will just feel the speed you won't even notice when it turns because you won't be able to see it. Tower of Terror hasd a seat belt and metal holders at the sides of the seat to hold on to. But that is a much tougher ride. I like them both have fun.

Rock 'n Roller coaster is a great ride!  Don't worry about it!  The ride is a lot of fun, and because it is indoors you won't be afraid of the loop because you won't be able to see it!  I suggest that you read about you Rock 'n Roller Coaster at http://orlandofuntickets.com/Disney-Holl...

Just know that a every year a few MILLION people ride the ride!  So it is safe!

Aerosmoth Rock N Roller Coaster is a very good roller coaster.  It's indoors like Space Mountain, but it's isn't nearly as dark.  You'll do fine.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a very scary ride.  I'd highly recommend you try it.  

short answer - It's indoors, but you have a view of the outside for a short while

long answer - Here's how it goes.  You go to this big haunted house looking building.  Inside the usher takes you into a room where you watch a very short episode of the Twilight Zone.  In the episode it shows how some people were riding the freight elevator when the building got hit by lightning.  The people and elevator car disappeared after falling down the shaft.  Then you go through the hotel's "basement" (you haven't technically gone down).  That's where you wait in line to get into your elevator car.  You sit down and wear a seatbelt.  Videography and flash photography isn't allowed.  In the elevator car you see the ghosts of the people who were hit by lightning.  Then you gently go up like in a regular elevator.  Without warning...

Yes, Rock n Roller Coaster is a good coaster to try for a first loop!  It is in the dark, with just some black-light signs along the way.  So it's not quite as scary as seeing your feet over your head in the clouds!  It's pretty short, as most loopers are, so it will be over before you know it, too.  Also, you have a good solid floor under your feet, and a harness that pulls down over your chest for you to hold onto.  You can pretty much pull the harness as close to you as you want, so you should feel safe.

Tower of Terror is dark, but not in the dark the whole time.  You will be able to see.  There are a couple of "scenes" other than just the dropping.  And you will be able to see out over the park at the top.  It is my favorite Disney ride, so of course I recommend you try it!  If you get scared, try closing your eyes and not looking at the parks, that's usually the scariest part. There's not as much protection in Tower of Terror.  Be sure you don't sit in the back middle seats - there's just a seatbelt and nothing to hold onto!  In the other seats, you may hold onto the bar in front of you.  But for maximum fun, throw your hands up!  It may take you a couple of rides to do this, though.

For a first loop Rock 'n Roller Coaster is a great choice.  It is a very smooth ride, unlike some looping coasters that really bump and jerk you around.  The scariest part is actually the beginning, where you accelerate EXTREMELY quickly.  You can watch this before you get on though, and if that part is too much any Cast Member will help you to the exit to wait for the rest of your group.  I think you'll be fine though.  Disney has some very exciting rides, but none of them are too over-the-top.
