  1. Yes he is.

He is a very athletic and intelligent fighter. If you watch his match against Alberto Crane, who is very good on the ground, Roger dominated him. Roger was able to slip out of the submissions attempts and he had excellent scrambles. Also, Huerta defeated Crane solely on the pace he set. Huerta kept attacking and attacking and eventually it wore Alberto out. His fight against Clay Guida was not his best fight. Despite how everyone criticizes Roger for being down in the fight, he still won. Guida left himself open for Roger to capitilize and Roger pulled off the submissions.

He is a great fighter and eventually, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

  2. yeah

  3. I think his fight against Kenny Florian will be the ultimate test.  Roger Huerta is good but showed some problems against a mediocre Clay Guida.  His fights have not been against the toughest opponents, but I think in the lightweight division he would be ranked 4th behin Penn, Sherk, and Florian. If he beats Florian than I would say he is as good as his record for now no.

  4. No. Look at his opps, no one who has amounted to much. He got very careless is his bout with Crane, giving up his back on numerous occasions and as such had to just ride it out until the bell. The best fighter he's beaten (Guida) had the fight completely dominated until Roger pulled it off. Huerta is has great size, good striking, and decent wrestling, but he is not on par with the rest of the divisions elites and Florian is going to show us that.
