Is Rosetta Stone helpful?

I'm looking for something to help me study Japanese again since I recently stopped due to laziness.

I've been looking at Rosetta Stone for a few days. I did the demo it's interesting but....I would like a couple of real user reviews. Anyone use it? Was it helpful? Is it worth the price tag? If not is there something better? Anything at all will be helpful.

  1. http://www.amazon.com/Rosetta-Stone-Vers...

Go to the bottom and read the reviews, seems to be doing the job for other people using Rosetta Stone Japanese.............

  2. It's one of the better computer learning programs, but don't expect to learn any language by the computer alone.  Follow the program, listen to CDs, practice online, and visit Japan if possible.

  3. O no sunny dont waste your money on that.

    trust

    me

    go at livemocha.com

    and register.

then enroll in any language you want to study.

roseta only helps in speaking, and tiny vocabulary

    but nothing of grammer.

note: livemocha uses rossetta stone and then youll get a taste of how rosseta stone is like.

    and belive me

    -_-

    horrible.
