Hello there.

Easy answer.  NO!!   These are instruments made and imported from the third world countries who are trying to get into the US market with cheap instruments.   You will regret putting any money into an instrument of this quality... as it will not be long before you have to replace it will a quality name brand trumpet.  

Looking for a beginner instrument?  The brands a band director will approve of:

King    -    Conn    -    Yamaha    -    Bach  - Getzen    

If the instrument has any other name....   stay away... your band director will not be happy.

If you cannot afford a brand new instrument, be looking for used.  There are TONS of them out there and especially now that it is summer.

Look in Craigslist . org in your city.  Check with eBay.  Newspaper classifieds.  Community Newpapers.  Church / grocery store bullitin boards.  Cousins / neighbors.  Pawn Shops.    You can find an affordable one if you look hard enough.

As everyone else has said, NO this is not a good brand of trumpet, student or otherwise.

Almost any brand owned by Steinway Instruments should be a good investment, along with Getzen and Yamaha. I've also heard great things about Andreas Eastman horns, but I haven't had the chance to play one for myself.
