I want to be an exchange student through Rotary.

Is it hard to get accepted?

I am on honor role. I am the student council president. I make friends easily and I get along with everyone.

Do you think I would get accepted?

  1. I think that you should have no problem getting accepted!  I'm not sure about the application process, but I don't think it's particularly rigorous.  As long as you have a few good things on your resume you should get in no problem.

One of my bests friends is currently studying in Holland on a Rotary Exchange.  Her sister had been in Switzerland the year before while they had a Swedish girl staying at their house, and this year they've had a French boy and a Mexican girl.  Maybe if you are sure to mention any involvement or friendships you've had with your school's exchange students in the past that could help you along...Both my friend and her sister are average students with a few areas of interest, not overly involved or academic.  You shouldn't have too much trouble as long as you're ambitious.

  2. Hi there. No Rotary Youth Exchange is not hard to get accepted in. I am however, gonna be an outbound this year 2008-2009 to South Korea..The application process is really long and difficult..Its about 15 pages long. Your average tuition is about $4,000.00. Once everything on your application is right then you will go through an intensive interview, which i suggest you SMILE and talk alot! Seem friendly, and be friendly. Once everything is set, =) You should be fine.
