Question:

Is Rudy Giuliani right about the experience thing?

He said: "He has never run city, never run a state, never run a government. He has never been responsible as a mayor for the safety and security of millions of people, and he has never run a law enforcement agency, which I have done."

Sure he ran New York City, but does that give him the right to say this?

  1. Sure he has the right.   It's the truth.  Giuliani is only pointing out the obvious, at least it's obvious to most of us.   Some people act as if they've never heard it before.....I think they have a bad case of "the emporer's new clothes".

  2. Freedom of speech is a great thing, isn't it? Is it true? Well, lets see, what has Obama run? Other than his mouth?

Yes, he is right, and pointing out the obvious.

  3. a better question is:  Is Guliania (or anyone else for that matter) happy with all the politicians who DO have experience and led us into the national mess we're in now?  How the heck does anyone get experience in ANY job if no ones gives them a chance?

  4. This is the first time that I have heard him speak more truer words.

  5. I concur.

  6. When is it incorrect to tell the truth?

  7. no he's just trying to blow his own horn

  8. Yes, when you're right, you're right. The truth hurts.

  9. They have the eyes of America and every critic listening and analyzing every word.  The don't have the time to make costly mistakes.  He told the truth.  Media and Hollywood have hyped up OBama so much its pathetic.  Its all about glamour for them, not the american people.  McCain and Palin, I though she kicked a**, I'm totally impressed by her, they've already got my vote.  Obama will be going to parties with his hollywood friends when he'd supposed to be running the country.  McCain and Palin have my vote.  I think they did an awesome job the other night.

  10. Depends on what sort of experience you think is important.  I would rather have someone who understands how congress works (a president can't get anything done without congress), someone who is willing to look at all sides of an issue/argument, someone who has authored over 100 bills, and someone who has worked with both sides of the aisle.  McCain used to be that person, and I used to like him.  When he came out in support of torture he lost me - he should know better, having been in the Hanoi Hilton.

  11. Rudy has alot of experience, but poor judgement.  The man's only contribution to NYC on 9/11 was making it more difficult.  The genius put the command center for a terrorist attack under the World Trade Center, the most obvious target in NYC and a place that had been targeted before.

Experience shows us what you have done, not what you will do.  Right now W Bush has almost 8 years of experience being president, that does not mean he is a good president.

  12. he told the truth
