  1. I very much doubt it...

  2. no its not but they do play the game there.

  3. Not at all.....Well, I think. I'm originally from England and I played rugby for almost my whole life throughout high school. (I moved to Canada when I was 11) and although it is pretty active in high schools, most of the US/Canada aren't even AWARE of how to play rugby. There are a small percentage of rugby nuts, mainly immigrants that I know ;)

  4. it's not even on the radar

  5. I would be surprised if anyone had even heard of rugby league in America.  They do have a rugby union competition over there, but it is pretty low profile.

  6. No it isn't but soccer is.

  7. No, There version is called Football and they players wear helmets and pads.

  8. no but it is played sometimes

  9. Rugby is very well known in Canada and somewhat in the US. There are very few international matches and league matches from other countries shown on TV here and even fewer played here, so people aren't exposed to it. I've been to a couple international matches in Toronto Canada vs England and Canada vs Whales, both maybe had 2500-3000 spectaters and that filled the stadium. The Women's World Cup of Rugby was held in Calgary and not one match was televised on any Toronto Ontario stations Unless you or someone you know plays or played it chances are you have not and will never go to a match. But I guarantee if the Sports channels would show it more often and hype it up a bit. It would become allot more popular. People like hard hitting fast pace sports. Rugby is the true meaning of raw adrenaline.

  10. Rugby league is less popular than rugby union, and that is about as popular as ice hockey in Dubai.
