  1. It's not- it's getting more popular...

and what do you mean football is better?

  2. no but potatoes are good cause Jerusalem artichokes are rubbish

  3. wales is england its a joke!

  4. Do you mean the national team?

I don't think they are going down the pan.

They were lucky in 2005 and did pretty well

This years 6Nations was the most competitive ever. They played some good rugby, but were unlucky with injuries and the Turks selection was a little questionable at times.

As for football being "better" not sure what your point is there at all.

  5. Football is better..!!!!!!!

Rugby is going down the pan and into the sewege

  6. but football is not better!

  7. Rugby in Wales isn't bad. I wish we had that sort of "bad" rugby over here in Hungary:)

  8. I would rather put bees up my ar5e than watch either.

  9. rugby is going down the pan in wales . so is football and every sport. they have just found out that money is needed and England wont pay. they don't put money in English sport any more, especially schools

  10. Rugby isn't going down the pan in Wales - look at the Heineken cup!

    And thats a stupid argument.

  11. No.  I think the rugby team doing badly is just one of those things, but most people I know are still far more interested in rugby than football.  Anyway, it's not like our football team is exactly doing well!

  12. Its a well known fact that no one from the Uk or Great Brittain can play sport anymore, you have become a global laughing stock ! how does it feel ?

  13. basically the state of both national teams isn't exactly good at the moment, however at grass roots level both games are played by thousands every week and supported by even more. rugby is not going down the pan as the support for the regional teams within wales is gaining popularity, remember that even though crowds are not as big as those for Cardiff and Swansea FC there are more rugby teams for fans to go and watch. the answer to this question is that neither football nor rugby are going down the pan, sport in wales is as healthy as it ever was and who knows what the world cup in october could bring. hopefully cardiff will make the playoffs and the Ospreys win on saturday.

  14. No. The last rugby international in Cardiff was a full house of over 70,000 people despite the fact that Wales had lost four games in a row. The Welsh football team had a crowd of 17,000. Football just doesn't compare with rugby in Wales.

  15. I think that you are talking & looking out of your *rse if you think that football is better than rugby.

Look at the internationals of both recently.

Wales could have sold the Millenium Stadium 3 or 4 times over to see the National Rugby Team beat England in the Six Nations & when the football was there a week or 2 later they could only get 10 - 15 Thousand there.

That crowd wouldnt even fill the Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Ninian Park Cardiff as well as the Racecourse in Wrexham.

They could have even played on some Rugby grounds such as St Helens Swansea, Stradey Park Llanelli, Cardiff Arms Park Cardiff and Rodney Parade Newport.

So get your head out of your *rse & take a proper look at Sport in Wales.

I bet that your not even Welsh either.
