Question:

Is Russia's current actions a shot across the bow of would be NATO nations?

Russia has been massing troops in the region since April 2008 and seems to have waited for the opportunity to move in to Georgia.

America's air strength in the region is based in Turkey, a stone's throw away. American action against Iran would necessitate air corridors be open and friendly between Turkey and Iran -- with Georgia in smack the middle. What do you think Russia's motives are here? Are their alterior motives as well?

  1. yes. Russian forces was moved to South Osetia because georgians kills our civilians, if you want you can read Russian news they are better then Georgina's. How can you see in "West"  news there is only georgians opinion and there is no one of opinion from South Osetia

    P.S. sorry for my English

P.P.S. the site with russian news is www.lenta. ru translate it with google and you will see the true screen

  2. Russias actions are against the killing of peace keepers and civilians.

    No more, no less.

  3. Russia and its leaders just want to scare its neighbors into accepting what Russia wants, they are all devils that shouldn't even of been born

And the South Ossetians all have russian citizenship, what the freak are they doing in territory that has been in Georgian Hands for hundreds of years, if they want to be so friendly with the Russian Devils they should go live in North Ossetia and stop demanding annexation of the western world to Russia!!

  4. Considering President Bush and Vladamir Putin had a discussion about this at the Olympics I don't see the US having a problem with this. Then President Bush talking and smiling while talking to Putin seems that we don't have a problem with it.
