  1. No but us attacking Iran might bring us to war with Russia.

  2. Nope. Nope... and open a history book, will ya'??

  3. No and No

it is Russia call on this one.  Oil's well that ends well

  4. No not the same because we waited over ten years to back and finish the job.....just like we should have done to Russia after wwII

  5. Not even close

  6. I don't think the russian pres. is doing it for the same reasons that saddam invaded kuwait, but it does seem pretty similar at first glance since there is oil involved (not like russia doesn't have enough already). but i really doubt that the US is going to want to get involved in any type of conflict with russia, it would most likely spark some huge conflict between two of the most heavily armed nations in the world. besides russia isn't exactly the most crucial threat to OUR security right now.  with all the disdain for the iraq war, soldiers not wanting to jump right back into another "peace keeping mission" that lasts 5 years, and other much more radical uncontrollable nations like iran and N. korea we aren't going to send any exclusively US forces over there. my best guess is they'll come to some treaty where georgia is pushed around by russia cause they don't want any more casualties or it'll go on till the UN grows a pair and sends a peace keeping force over there and russia gets sick of all the problems the EU, NATO and other nations will give them.

  7. its not similar and even if it was the gulf war was ordered by the U.N. not the us so the UN would have to step in first

  8. No and no.
