Question:

Is Russia a threat or still a joke?

I read somewhere that Russia still uses cold war weaponry. And that it's arsenal is huge but old and decaying.

Russia's economy still probably doesn't compare to America's or Europe's economy,

but oh well... with Russia belligerent activities I'm starting to wonder... is something to back it up or they just want to promote nationalism of some sort?

  1. Russia is still very dangerous...they are a wounded bear.

  2. Very big threat they have a nut case in charge

  3. Yea Russia is still a threat, not in a traditional army way but as a rogue nation with nukes way.  If russia decided to under mind the U.S. and help out terrorist they could really hurt us.  They also have better faces to carryout terror attacks because they are white they could really hide in our population.

  4. Serious threat.

  5. Russia has always been a threat.  When the Soviet Union fell, they still kept a strong weapon arsenal.  We as American always have been keeping an eye on it...for our safety and our alliances.  Polands Missiles are not a coincidence.

  6. Russia has defeated Georgia in just 3 days. That's concerning because Georgia had American military equipment so it's a sort of American defeat

  7. Russia has a very powerful military with lots of high tech weapony. including tanks, jets, guns, ships, and nukes form the soviet/cold war era, America and Russina relations are still not good. even after the cold war

  8. Russia will be a threat and powerfull country for a long time.

  9. Yes, an operational nuke is a nuke regardless of vintage..

  10. If you look at photos of the tanks they rode into Georgia on they are 35 years old and no match for the US fleet of tanks and A 10 tank killers.  Plus did you get a look at those Russian troops..they look like a bunch of rag tag misfits, dopers, drunks and malcontents.

Remember these are the same people who took 8 yrs in Afganistan and the Taliban kicked their azzes.  We took Afganistan in less than 2 weeks.
