  1. I think that Russia in this case have the aim to show USA and their marionettes a border of its (Russian) huntings lands. You - damned yankees & europeoses, stinking skunks and jackals, you must eat yours corpses in your Americas - Northern, Central and Southern, and in your Western Europe. But here it is a sphere of our native national interests. Here always it was and will be 4-ever our hunting.

  2. From the looks of it yes. I don't have the answer why but I think Russia has a plan up its sleeve

  3. I don't think so, I think they don't want the U.S to mettle in their territory of influence. Like how pissed we'd get if they came over here and armed Cuba...again. I'm guessing they don't appreciate Georgia wanting a spot in NATO.

  4. NO they were defending south ossita from the georgians who killed 1500 of them in one evening what is wrong with that..?

  5. Yes.  Look, this was a power play, plain and simple.  Russia always has had aspirations to once again be a world power and this was their first step in doing so.  By taking out Georgia they weaken a already fragile Democratic state on their border, a former Soviet state.  Keep in mind also where Georgia is on a map.  Not in Europe like the Balkans, but all the way in the Caucuses.  Russia has massive leverage over Europe with their control of the major NG pipelines, and this was just the first time they will use it to scare Europe into doing nothing.

  6. In Soviet Russia, territory conquers YOU!!

  7. Seriously doubt it. Mededev is not a communist, but Putin was. But Russia is today more facist then communist. You should see how conservative they are and their socialist views that seems closer to old Hitler then old Stalin. Russia does seem to be this way, but it always has ever since Russia became a country. They have always picked on their neighbors in all directions, I just think this is just an ethnic conflict that always uprises in old soviet territories.

  8. Georgia attacked Abkhazia and South Ossetia because both would like to be part of Russia not Georgia.  Russia is defending those areas.

  9. russia does try to do so and it will if georgia loses this war, but i hope it won't ... after all it's 21th century...
