Is Russian hard/easy for an english speaker to learn?

I'm naturally good at languages, I'm studying french for 2 years now and I love it.

  2. well russian is pretty hard coz there is no such a thing like fixed stress,some in  topics of grammar u cannot find in any other language except russian,and the verbs are changing in completely different form

  3. The 2 obvious differences between French & Russian...the alphabet, and much less overlap in the vocabulary.

    Ex.

    Doctor = french docteur/russian vrach

    blue=bleu/sinii

    table=table/stol

    room - chambre (chamber)/komnata

    etc etc etc

    In comparison with English and French, Russian is much more inflected. You will need to learn many more cases, and the appropriate endings for the various genders and numbers.
