  1. in contrary to the person above me, i took the SAT II Biology E (ecology). personally, i think that it wouldn't hurt to study off of that book. the hardests tests are in the kaplan. good diagrams in barron. and princeton does a good job explaining things (the tests in their are easier). i thought, actually, that the SAT was easier that all of these books.

  2. I haven't heard of anyone using that book, but I wouldn't recommend it.  I used Barron's SAT II Biology study guide.  I found Barron's Biology book very useful because it was harder than the real SAT Bio test.  If you can do well on the Barron's practice tests, you'll ace the real test with no problems.  Princeton Review and Kaplan are pretty good too, but they're easier than the real SAT II bio test so I didn't feel as well-prepared with those books. Each person learns differently so just go to a book store and flip through Princeton Review, Kaplan, and Barron's study guides and see which one(s) you think would help you the most.
